Day 3

I woke up this morning with throbbing headache at 6 am. The nurse told me that it can be a side effect of the Busulfan. She gave me Oxycodone for the pain and I went right back to sleep until 8:30. Iam starting to feel some side effects, but nothing like last time. Kyle hasbeen here all day he lokks tired. He and I took a cat nap this afternoon. We also have been getting in many walks and trips to the patient lounge. I am feeling good. YES I CAN!

Hi mom! I am the first to post!!! Today anyway! As always I have been thinkin of you all day and I am so excited that you are doing so well. Your attitude is going to pull you out of this on top. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! but I am mostly proud to be your daughter. You are THE most courageous and strong woman that I have ever met and to be able to call you mom is an honor. The way you stormed through your first rounds of chemo and looked beautiful and felt great for the reception and recovered soooo well was nothing short of miraculous to me but the thing that I am most admirable of thus far is your determination to hit it head on again. You were ready and you almost had an excitement about you when you were ready to get back into the ring again, knowing what lies ahead. I love you mom and YOU ARE TRUELY MY HERO!!!!!!!
    Love,
    Jess

Good Morning, I am glad it's going good for you with little side effects. The heat has made work crazy and the Wolff picnic has made it hard to get up there but we'll be up sunday if you feel up to it. Thinking about you constantly and Iknow this is just another bump in your life that you will overcome. Hope the rest of the journey goes well with little bumps to recovery. We have no doubt you can do it. Love you always, Doug and Pat
