Day 1

Hi everyone. I am all checked into room M50-04. It is a private room with a view of the Cleveland skyline, but it is very small and very sterile. I think when I have visitors we will go to the patient lounge. I have to wear a mask there, but it is much more spacious and comfy. We have a keycard to get in there. Ihave not started my chemo yet. My nurse tells me they will start it at 9 pm. I am ready to get this show on the road. I'm hoping I am not going to have to count to Day 35 again this time. We will see what we can do about that. I'm thinking I can do this in something like 21 days. YES I CAN!

Glad to see you got hooked up to the internet. Keep up that positive attitude because it will get you through all the days ahead. It was great to see you smiling today - smiling because this is the last round of the fight and the leukemia will be conquered! Kade, Kyle and I will be praying for you every day and sending our love. Every time you close your eyes, envision that healing light surrounding you because with all the supporters, friends and family sending positive energy - the light around you is blinding!
    All my love,
    Erika

Just lie back, and let it do its job. It's not the number of days it's going to take, it's the fact that you WILL get home and this time with no fears or worries of having to go back. Hi Cindy,
This is it girl...your last round and then back to your "normal" (or "ABnormal"..whatever)You will be savoring life for many, many years to come. This past week end Kerry and I attended the Women of Faith Conference in Cleveland. Nicole Johnson performed her skit about beating cancer, complete with boxing gloves in a boxing ring. Wow...what powerful stuff. Of course I thought of you and prayed that you will have the strength to knock that cancer out. (I know you will!) I don't know if that is where you got the boxing gloves idea but if you haven't seen her I hope you will some time in the future. Keep fighting Cindy. We all selfishly want you in our lives! You have so much and so many to live for. You go girl!
    {{{Hugs}}} and prayers,
    Daleen
