Day 22

Had another good day yesterday. It was a quiet day. Kyle went back to Sandusky . Son, Kyle came up to visit around lunch time and sister, Libby came around dinnertime. The rest of the day I sat in a chair and read or took walks. It felt like a long day, but at least there was no nausea or vomiting. I feel like I'm strting to gain some strength back. at least I don't feel like sleeping all day. Again, thank you everyone for all your prayers. I know there were times when that was carrying me through and giving me the courage to say YES I CAN!

    Hi Cindy
I think you do need some of those quiet days once in awhile to just sit back and relax and enjoy the FEEL GOOD feeling. I just had to get on the BLOG before we head off for Mass---just to know how you are doing. Sounds good to me. The sun is shining brightly already.

I'm glad to hear that you are smiling and feeling better. I heard that you were even sitting in the chair yesterday for a little while. Every day that passes will bring you more strength and before you know it you'll be out of there! I love you and am sending positive energy your way.
    Love always,

Thatta girl! You bet you can! I'll have something for Kyle to bring up to you this week. I'll try to catch him Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm so glad to read that you had some quiet time this weekend, you've been a busy lady lately. Just think how far you have come, Cindy. There were days when you probably couldn't even THINK about taking a walk, sitting in a chair to read and walking the dreaded treadmill, and now you have DONE all those things. I'm so proud of you! YES I CAN!

    Hi Abby,
Sounds good to hear you're having good days (makes our days better too). Walking past Victoria's Secret yesterday, there was a huge picture of a girl with pink boxing gloves on. My first thought was "ABBY", cuz of the gloves not the girl. (No doubt you look better than the girl...Okay!?)Keep tryin to rest, it's probably a bit difficult cuz yer not the resting kind...unless yer in Punta. Practice deep breathing (if you don't have anything to do, Kyle too)it'll get great oxygen to those new & improved cells you now have. (I think I heard that on 20/20 HA) Love, Prayers, Positive Energy to ya's...Val

    Hi Cindy,
It was so good to see you the other day. We enjoyed our visit and it's so nice to hear that the "good" days are getting closer together. Now all you have to do is rest, get your strength back and wait for "negative" results after your next test. We KNOW YOU CAN!! Knock 'em dead, kiddo.
    Love ya,
    Mark and Jan
