Day 21

It is a bright sunny day, just like yesterday. It makes me feel like good days are coming. I had a long night last night...one of the results of the chemo this time is a bad "sunburn" type rash on the palms of my hands and the soles of my feet, which really does feel like a bad sunburn and kept me awake most of the night. The nurse offered Percocet, but I said NO after my last experience with it. This morning the doctor was in and ordered something IV and that helped. All of my family are at a shower for Lauren today. Wish I could be there. I just have to keep thinking I'm going to be at the wedding. YES I AM and YES I CAN.

Hey Abb, It's sunny here too in Mansfield. The weather does affect our attitude, so let's just continue to visualize sunny thoughts no matter what. Bet Lauren's gettin some nice things today, that's fun. Keep repeating positive thoughts/words...it works. Our minds believe what we think and that carries throughout our whole body. Nice day for you & Kyle to use the fishing puzzle. Have fun. Hope Kyle's reading to you (George Carlin book), need to laugh. Humor is great therapy. love & prayers Val
