Day 15

Cindy had a good Mother's Day. She had trouble stayin awake for all of her vistors. Her counts were low yesterday. But that's the way they want them. Then around midnight she woke finding the Drs. and Nurses around her bed because her blood pressure was dropping. So they pumped her with 6 bags of fluid. She also ate her first real food in 2 weeks (a hamburger). So after a long night of many trips to the bathroom she had her bone marrow biopsy 8:30 this morning. I sat by her side and I thought that her figernails were going right through the skin on my fingers. Im sure it wasn't as bad as what she went through. They said the results will take 24rs. Sooner if results are negative. WE CAN WAIT UNTIL TOMOORROW.

Everone keep up the good work. We appreciate all the prayers and comments. And Val , any more GW trips planned?
Love,

Cindy and Kyle

That painful biopsy is out of the way now and it's in God's hands. He has definitely had his hand on your shoulder through all of this so we'll just keep praying and the test WILL come back negative! Not only are you in God's hands, but the hands of your husband have been constantly holding yours as well. I am so glad he was there to give you strength through that procedure. Now we wait, but the prayers will not stop. We love you and are thinking positive thoughts right along with you.
    Love always, Erika and Kade

It is IRONIC----today when Ralph and I went to 8:15 Mass the first song Tim announced to sing was THE STRIFE IS OVER. I whispered to Ralph---"Do you think that is a good omen and that the worst is over and now things will be looking up?" I do hope so. I'm thinking POSITIVE.

LEUKEMIA FREE CINDY!!!!!!! It just HAS to be.
I am praying SO hard today. I was sorry to hear that you had a crazy night, glad to hear that you ate something even though it got you later. Wishing you a better day, though it will be nail biting....try to get some sleep.
Kyle.....you are such an awesome person too. You have been such a wonderful source of strength for Cindy. The love between the two of you is SO evident and in this day in age, your relationship is reassuring to those who may not beleive that true love can exist and edure the tests of time. I am sure that this journey has been just as hard on you. I am keeping you in my prayers as well.

"Lord please watch over Cindy and Kyle as they await the results of the most important "test" she has ever taken. Be with them and give them peace of mind. Please allow this biopsy to negative. We love Cindy so much and I know that you have so much more planned for her life. Thank you for hearing our prayers thus far and be with the rest of their family as well.
Thank you Lord for all of our blessings."

    Hi Abby & Kyle,
I'm thinkin about you both & prayin alot. Thanks Kate (whoever you are) for the great prayer. I do my own prayers but sometimes it's nice to have a personalized one.(I like those.) Thanks! And yes I did visit a Goodwill in Florida, but didn't really see anything that either one of you might enjoy.(probably cuz Steve & Nick were like not enjoying the GW experience). I'll make a few stops this week and I'll find you something special (ono). A little sidebar here... Your body is healing & you're OK. Keep positive thoughts. Sending light & love tonite...Val
