Day 20

Good morning everyone. The last bag is almost finished and then chemo is done! Yesterday was not areal good day. I only got 2 walks in because of the nausea. My daughter-in-law, Erika came up with Kyle and spent the morning. My sister, Libby came up also and spent most of the day. She gave me a back rub and foot massage. That felt good. I just had a hard time getting out of bed. The nurses said you will have days like that. So today is going to be a better day. I am going to get up and walk extra today. YES, I CAN. And I,m going to give any remaining bad cells the knockout punch, YES, I CAN.

    Morning friend,
I, too, just like your brother, wake up and you are my first thought. Okay, now Cindy, here's what you and Kyle are going to do. You're now focusing on nothing but killing the remaining cells and the worst is behind you. There's a fella in the Bible by the name of Jabez, I'll tell you his story when I see you. Recite the following, as many times a day as you want. "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and bless me a lot. That You would enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil. I ask this in the name of Your Son, Jesus." I want the 2 of you to also do the following, together. Think about what overwhelms you today. What is the goal you feel is incapable of completing today. Draw a small symbol of it in a box. Write its name inside the box, as well. THEN, draw a wide circle around your box to represent God. He is greater; He surrounds your challenge. Next, say a prayer over your drawing until you accept in your deepest heart that God is BIGGER than ANY obstacle. You'll feel the stength and your journey will be almost to its end. I love ya, Cindy. YES I CAN YES I CAN YES I CAN YES I CAN YES I CAN !!!

Hi Cindy...thinking of you today and so happy that the chemo is done. Now, you gotta build all those good cells back up. You have had such a rough road, but I know in my heart that your faith has played a tremendous part in your battle and now into your recovery. Though you may not have always felt that way, you are so strong and very truly an inspiration to me and so many others. You are so dear to me Cindy Lou. Love you and miss you. Hang in there. Hi Cindy,

We've been having lots of fun with Marcie. She and Doug had dinner last night and then met me at the SMCC musical "Fiddler on the Roof". It was very good and we really enjoyed it. Just wanted to let you know that two of the second graders that have been praying the rosary for you are my very own Chase (Deb's class) and Justice (Gale's class). The past two Fridays have been special grandparent masses so I know there were an abundance of prayers going your way. Stay positive. Everyone is pulling for you. Lots of Love, Pat and Doug
PS We'll take lots of baptism pictures in Michigan tomorrow so it'll be just like you were there!

    Hi Cindy,
Went to the Indians game last night.I told my husband I wanted them to win it for you and they did .The fireworks after the game were great. Wish I could send a visual imagine to you so close your eyes and try to see what my eyes saw. It was great. The traffic was really bad because the Cav 's were playing to.As you probably heard they lost.Maybe I should have told them to win it for you.
Need less to say we didn't get home till after twelve and I woke up six. We have another game tomorrow and it's earlier so tomorrow night I'm going to bed early. I do hope your feeling better and don't forget we're sending all our love and prayers
    Thinking of you daily.

Hi Cindy. Its Margy and this is now the fourth timeI have tried to E-mail you but considering I am totally computer illiterate it is no surprise you have not received any of them. I finally had Gale come over and show me what to do . I just wanted you to know you have been in my thoughts and prayers daily since you have been in the hospital. You have been a source of inspiration to all of us and make us all realize how life can change very quickly. Keep up the good fight and remember we are all thinking and praying for you. Oh by the way, I was wondering if you could get the name of the sleeping pill Doug told us about sounds great for just obout every menopausal woman I know! Just kidding. Just remember Cindy and Kyle "Yes you can"! Love to you both Tom and Margy
