A little better day

It didn't start out to good when I arrived at 8:30 am. Cindy was hooked up to oxygen. She woke up in the middle of the night finding it hard to breath. Then later on they did some breayhing treatments which seemed to help. Then they took her down for more x-rays(no results yet). The Doctor said she has fluid around her heart. Gave her more lasics. They said most of her problems now are from side effects from one of the drugs that she was on. Cindy is taking her meds orally with no problem. The Doctor said he is shooting for monday for discharge if nothing else causes any problems. It's hard to try to keep her from getting to anxious when she hears that or from being to low when they tell her not today.

PS: Keep the prayers coming

KYLE

The old neighborhood from central ave were at Deming's and they all wish you well. When you're ready you'll be out of there and be able to see the new addition to the Roth family. Everyone is thinking of you constantly and Hoping to see you soon. All our love and prayers are coming to you to help get you home soon. Love you very much. Pat and Doug

We know this seems to be taking a lifetime, but we all need to remember the goal. We have faith that it won't be much longer. It's better to be patient and make sure you are really ready to be away from the hospital. Would hate for you to get home and have you need help and be far away. We will continue to send our prayers your way.
    Love,
    Mark and Jan

Mom, take your time to get better. This is a marathon, not a sprint and you are doing great. Don't worry, Papa is giving Liv kisses for you and she is still going to be tiny when you get to see her.

We love you and are sending our love to you from across campus.

    Morning Bella and Kyle!
I'm sure you were so terribly worried and afraid when you had to see Cindy on oxygen and back for more tests. It's been a long, hard and miserable battle for the two of you, but it's almost over. Just remember, you have fought for 5 months and have made it this far, just a little longer and a few more "punches" till you are home. Oh, Cindy, my heart aches for you and all that you have had to endure. Don't let down, kiddo. Please don't focus on the date of coming home, it just makes it harder when you're body tells you "not quite yet". We want you ready to come home and then to stay there. We love ya, Bella!

    Hi Cindy & Kyle,
Oh my gosh, you are following the same path as Steve. He also was on oxygen for a few days. So just know you aren't off the course. Keep thinking positive and that "Steve did it" so you will too. I think of you constantly and praying for both of you. Cindy, "yes you can".
    Take care, Ginny

    Cindy,
Keep up the good work. We spoke before you went in. I had the transplant a year ago. You are doing great! Remeber one day at a time and you will have ups and downs. I always thought 1 step forward two back. But it will all catch up and you will be great again. i've been watching you and praying. Keep up the good work!God Bless Denise
