A few down day's

Cindy had a few lousy day's this weekend.Last night at midnight they took her for a chest x-ray because she had shortness of breath. She had fluid buildup but not in her lungs. And then on sunday afternoon they took her down for an MRI because her speech was real faint and hard to understand what she was saying. They think it is a side effect from one of her meds so they stopped that med to see if that is whats causing it. It will show up on the scan. We didn't get the results yet. She is kind of getting down because she was set on getting out on monday. She got emotional at times. I think she is having a tough time missing big events like Zac and Lauren's wedding and with the birth of Liv coming up. It's got to be especially tough for someone so family oriented.

PS: Keep the prayers coming.

KYLE

    Hi Cindy & Kyle,
Don't get too discouraged. These same things happened to Steve. I've been reading the journal that I kept for Steve and reliving all the good and bad days he had. The day he thought he was going to be released, he had ships land on his bed. So the doctor decided he wasn't ready yet. We laugh about all his hallucinations now but at the time it wasn't funny. He also had the high fever, had many CT scans and MRIs and many, many units of blood and platelets. So just think of it as part of getting through the transplant. I've been concerned about you cause you haven't blogged. So thanks for letting us know what's going on. Just keep taking it one day at a time (I know that's easy for us to say) and don't rush getting out of the hospital. Remember, Steve made it through and you can too. Yes, you can. I keep praying for both of you.
    Take care, Ginny

So sorry to hear that you have been having a lousy time. Figured something was up. This roller coaster has got to be getting tiresome. But, try to keep your goal in sight. It is the end result that really counts. We all wish this would end and you could be back home, but we want you home healthy, so if it takes longer, then I guess we all have to be more patient. Cindy, you can do this. Fight, keep fighting with all your might. We all wait for you.
    Love,
    Mark and Jan

    Morning Bella!
It's going to fine and you are going to be coming home, but not when you say. Let your body do its thing in its own time. Better to be there, where everything is a few steps away, than to be home and have to drive up in the midde of the night. Remember, SLOW and steady will win this race. Thank God for Ginny's post, she made me feel better knowing that ALL these things you're going through, are exactly the things Steve went through. How wonderful that she kept a journal of Steve's road to recovery. I know how awful this must have been for you as well,
Kyle. However, let your fears be less now that you know it's part of the healing process. You have had "bad" days before and you have always come out on top, just as you will now. Don't focus on what you have missed (Zac's wedding and whatever else you're sad about)focus on all the wonderful things you have to look forward to, especially the birth of that baby. What a bond the two of you will will share, she's kinda like your namesake....LIV! You're going to hold her and you're going to be celebrating many holidays, birthdays, graduations and weddings in the years to come. Remember, get your mind back on track, lace up the gloves and DO IT, Cindy! YES I CAN! YES I CAN! YES I CAN! YES I CAN! YES I CAN, CAN, CAN, CAN, CAN, CAN!!!!
