Made some progress(small steps)

Cindy had some company today and responded pretty good to it. Mom Kromer and (Jerry's Kids) Craig, Doug and Tony and also Cindi. Cindy walked out of the room for the first time in a few day. We walked down to the patient lounge. Doctor Dean says she should try to walk little during the days. After that we went back to her room and she did a good job for not walking for a while. After that the boy's and Cindi kidnapped me and went to the winking lizard for wings and of course a few beverages. Tonight Cindy got three units of platlets and she will get two more tomorrow to get her counts up so they can do the scope to see if she does have host vs. graft. If she does they will give her steroids right away to combat the nausea. They say it will work very quickly.

PS: Keep the prayers coming.

KYLE

So happy to hear Cindy was up a little today. You have us worried. Hope you can have the scope, tomorow, so we will know what is going on. You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. We were at Chet and Matt's tonight, and we could hear the "500 Mile" song, in the distance. Every time we hear it we thing of you two. Hang in there and tomorrow will bring more sunshine.
    Love,
    Mark and Jan

    Hi Bella!
Small steps are GOOD! Remember when we let our children hold onto our fingers when they were learning to walk? Well, now it's your turn you to hold on and you have so many that want to walk with you. Hold on tight and walk your 500 Miles. We all have to take the little steps before we can take the giant steps. Just like in The Tortoise and the Hare, slow and steady wins the race, that's what you're doing everyday. On Thursday you wouldn't have been able to walk to the lounge, or even want to, but on Sunday you could! Keep at it Cindy! YES I CAN, and so can you, Kyle:)

Baby steps we all learn to hold up our head, sit-up, crawl, stand, let go, walk and go BOOM!! You will get through this of that we are certain. Kyle, take care of you. Once again, give a call if we can help out.

Keeping all of you in our daily thoughts and prayers. THIS WILL BE A BETTER WEEK.

    Dad,
You are doing a great job supporting mom. I am sure she is very grateful to have you there by her side. You are both teaching how to stay strong when times get tough. Let mom know that we are thinking of her and can't wait till she is home. We hope the days get better soon. I am sure they will so keep both of your heads up and continue to fight. Your goal is within reach, and you will be the champions.

    Love,

    Zac, Lauren, Bailey, and Riley
