Doctor's visit

The visit to Cleveland went extremely well. The doctor was amazed at my change in status from 1 week ago when I left the hospital. He told me to keep up the good work and to walk each day to help me gain more strength before the bone marrow transplant. He turned me over to the transplant team who will call me next week to schedule my day of testing in Cleveland and the actual transplant which he said will take place in mid July. He gave me a lot of information and told me all the things that can go wrong, which made me want to say to him I CAN DO THIS, YES I CAN. I'm sure they have to tell you all those things, but I am determined to be in the 50% that don't have the rejection problems. Tonight sister-in-law Julie picked Marcie and I up and took us to her new home for dinner. It was lovely and i enjoyed myself very much. The house is gorgeous! Then when I got home, the newlyweds called me and I got to talk to the newest Mrs. Roth and Zac. They sounded so happy and I was overwhelmed with joy. I also got to speak to Kyle and cried through most of it, but let him know how well I am doing. He was a little emotional also and I just can't wait to see all the pictures. Well, it has been a full day and I am a little tired tonight, will write tomorrow.

    Morning Cindy!
Great news from the Clinic!!!!! They do have to tell you all the negatives for any procedure they perform, but in your case that will not happen. You know that, I know that, and EVERYONE else knows that, too. Libby is a PERFECT match. You're young and look how your body is getting stronger and stronger as the day to your recovery is approaching. It, too, can't wait for this to be finally over. I hope you told the doc that he can figure out a schedule with the other docs to knock you out when they test you again! You need to be firm on that! Just keep up with all the positive things you're doing and especially your mental attitiude. I'm so happy you got to talk with Kyle and I bet he's counting the hours until he's home with you again. Hope you got the soup off the deck-LOL! It's full of vitamins, so eat it all up! Jabez-everyday! Yes I CAN!

    Hi Mom!

We are having a great time, but there is no way that you could have been here. Erika has had a good time, but the heat and insulin and sunburn, walking and sausage feet has reallly gotten to her.

We are about to go to dinner, but I wanted to let you know we are thinking of you and having a good time. Erika is doing good too. Her sugar has been pretty good and she has even had a few margaritas and pina coladas, non/alcoholic. She did have a sip of presidente beer though!

We love and miss you. |See you soon.

    Love,
    KD and Erika
