Happy Birthday Kyle

Today is Kyle's birthday. Happy Birthday honey. I don't know what I would do without him. He has been so strong through all of this. Yesterday, the doctor said there is a possibility that they may not do the bone marrow biopsy on Tuesday, if my white count does not come up, so say some prayers that it does, because I want to be done with it and go home. I will keep you informed if they do change the day. Also, the doctor said there is a 50% chance I may go to Punta Cana, so I have been praying like crazy that I do. Yesterday they also had me start drinking some vitamin enriched juice called Resource. Since, I still can't eat much, they thought I needed it. It wasn't too bad and I kept it down, so that is good. I'll do whatever they say I need to do. I also wanted to send a special thank you out to Jillian C. She sent the most precious picture of her daughter, Ella, posed next to a sign saying "get well soon, Cindy". I have it hanging on my window and smile every time I look at it. I feel a little stronger this morning. That is a good sign.

    Good Morning Cindy, Hopefully the vitamins will help I'm glad to hear they're giving you something since you're not eating. Cooked at a dinner for the elks last night and everyone asked about you even Crabby Pat. He really does have a heart. You are in the thoughts of so many it still amazes me daily. With all these thoughts and prayers daily you will win this fight. It may take alittle longer than we want but in the end it will all be worth it. Love you always, Doug and Pat PS.     Hi Cindy
    I am glad that they are giving you some kind of nourishment but I'm sure you would prefer a regular diet----it won't be long now and you will be able to put those TEETH to work. I'll bet they are wondering what the heck is going on---where's the food. I guess we will have to pray EXTRA hard now to get that white count up where it belongs so they can do that biopsy and get you HOME. So take care and we will keep the prayer line going.
    Give the BIRTHDAY BOY a hug and kiss from me. I just checked my diary---he wasn't born till
    8:52 p.m. 53 years ago--6-6 OZ. I think he's gained a little since then----LOL

    I'm sending a big Happy Birthday to you Kyle.I hope all your Wishes come True.Of course we all know what the first one would be.I'm adding lots and lots of Prayers.

    Cindy: I talked with Doug yesterday. I just heard a few days ago that you were in the hospital. (I guess my life is pretty boring as the boys tell me over and over:) Need to get out more...You are in our daily thoughts and prayers and you ARE going to get better and all this will be behind you and Kyle. You can and will beat this thing and hopefully getting some sunshine in Punta Cana soon. Chico and Char

    Hey there Cindy,
    Many prayers that your white count comes up so that you can get the bone marrow biopsy done and get on with your life. I suppose a 50% chance of you going to Punta Cana is better than nothing....you are going to get better really fast, so that your chances are 100%.
    A very happy birthday to Kyle--you are a wonderful man....I know because Cindy has told me many times!!!

    You have been in my thoughts all day and I can only imagine how ready you are to get out of there. Just focus on building that white count so you can have the biopsy Tuesday, imagine seeing the cells multiplying and growing and God will do the rest. Once I kick my cold I'll be up to see you, but I can't risk bringing the germs there and adding to your already long stay. Seeing you actually brings me strength, so it's been hard to not be up there in awhile. You are so amazing and you have handled it all with such humility and peace that I am inspired to reevaluate how I go about my daily life. Enjoy spending the day with Kyle and the family and hopefully all his birthday wishes come true!

    Hi Cindy,
    Got home from vacation last night at midnight and the first thing I did was get caught up on your blog. We had several laptops there but had some problems getting connected. Now it's your turn to "hit the beach" and I'm praying very hard (as are so many others) that it will happen. Keep fighting, girl. You are amazing!
    Gonna see if #4 is up to a road trip this week...that should be worth a few laughs.
    Give that brother of mine a big Happy Birthday Hug and Kiss. In his honor I am going to listen to Toby Keith sing " I'm Not as Good as I Once Was, But I'm as Good Once as I Ever Was."

    Hi Cindy, I hope your white count is better by Tuesday so you can get back home again and well enough to get to punta cana. Hopefully the "juice" will help you gain some strength back for that final punch. You are so strong and I admire you so for your perserverance Cindy. I'll be praying extra extra extra hard for you!!
