Day3

I just returned to my room. Finally got my Hickman. YEAH!!! Daleen and Val were here. They stayed and visited with Kyle during the placement of the Hickman. They had alot of laughs. It was good for us. Val brought usual (goodies). I am feeling much better now that the Hickman placement is over. Nurse just started second chemo drug. And I get to eat dinner!

Glad to hear that they finally got the port placed. I can't wait to tell you about the "Great Ted Adventure" we had with Kade today. I am going to come up tonight to drop some things off. I love you and have been thinking about you all day.

Oh boy. Aunt Daleen and Aunt Val...What a hoot! But that's why we love them! Whoever thought of this blog idea was very smart. It's cool...I'll be going through my day and check it every so often and I feel like I'm up to the minute on everything, just like with the news. Not to mention it gives you an outlet and gives you something to do. Pretty neat. Anyway, glad to hear you had a decent day. I hope you don't have to eat hospital food everyday. Yuck. I was sick of that by the 2nd day when I broke my leg and was in the hospital for a month. Oh, just the smell! Still makes me want to gag. I just thank God for all the family members that brought me food (especially my spaghettios!) when I was laid up. If you need anything special just holler...David and I could always use a little road trip. By the way, thanks for checking out my blog. I never thought about making one until you started yours, but it makes sense...it's just easier to keep in contact with everyone and keep everyone up to date. Hope you sleep well tonight!
