Footprints in the sand

Thank you to all of you whose footprints I see carrying me through the days I could not walk. You lifted me whaen I could not lift myself and for that I am eternally grateful. I'm back with more determination than before that YES, I CAN. Today I actually was hungry and asked Kyle to get me some take out food...........I thought he was going to faint! Since they are weaning me off the steroids, I am having a little trouble trying to get my pills down, but we are working on that. Today, I actually felt good. Zac was in town overnight....he and his friends went to Tigers game last night , so he stopped last night and then again today and brought me some yummy food I can have tomorrow. I am so blessed to have such a large and loving family. Even though the Roth and Kromer family is large and we STICK together through thick and thin......our friends have become just as important part of our large family and without all of you we could not have made it through. Thanks to all of you who have helped Kyle and Marcie through this... there are just so many people to thank. Thank you ,all of you, WE ARE FAMILY!! Can't wait until I am sitting on my porch enjoying autumn with all of you!

    Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Bella!
You sound GREAT! You WILL be sitting on your porch during the beautiful autumn days and evenings, enjoying all your friends and family, and they will be soooooooooo enjoying their time with YOU! I remember all the times I have been on steroids and how hungry they made me-----I must still be on them and don't know it. You keep eating and if there are any special treats you want, let us know. I'm sure they can nuke you something hot, as well. School starts Tuesday and I'll see my kids from last year. I know they will ask about you and I'll tell them to start the rosaries again asking God to bring you home soon. I miss seeing you and hearing your voice. We saw Kyle and Marcie at the Elks and I looked for you :) I'm so happy to hear you're lacng up the gloves again and fighting off this infection-you'll do it, Bella, of that I am positive! I LOVED the pic of you and baby Liv, you are so fortunate to have those grandchildren. Keep smiling Bella and remember to keep walking. Slow and steady wins the race. YES I CAN!

    HI CINDY
I JUST READ YOUR BLOG AND YOU SOUNDED SO GREAT AND RARING TO FINISH THAT RACE AND GET HOME. IT'S BEEN TOO DARN HOT TO SIT ON YOUR PORCH RIGHT NOW ANYWAY SO WAIT A WEEK OR SO WHEN THE LOVELY AUTUMN BREEZES SET IN AND YOU WILL ENJOY IT A LOT MORE. IT WON'T BE LONG. PICKED UP MARCIE AFTER WORK AND BROUGHT HER HERE FOR SUPPER. SHE CERTAINLY MUST HAVE ENJOYED THE SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS BECAUSE SHE HAD TWO HELPINGS.
    SEE YOU SOON.

Hi Cindy! What an adorable picture of you with baby Liv! What a doll she is...and I can just imagine how wonderful it must have felt to hold her for two hours (and I don't doubt that you were kidding). I used to love just wasting away the day holding Emily. You are an amazing person, and though I don't write often, you are in my thoughts and prayers (and Tim's too). Keep those pink boxing gloves on and get home soon!! We miss you.
