Day +5

What a glorious day! I woke feeling great! Was even able to eat my breakfast for the first time in a week. Then all my brothers, Craig, Doug, and Tony, along with sis-in-law Cindi and my Mom came up for a visit this morning. It was absolutely wonderful. They left around lunchtime and went to visit Libby. She is doing a little better, she is able to eat now and the headaches are lessening. She is a trooper. This afternoon Kyle and I watched the Indians game, since he can't see the Tigers games. Son, Kyle came at dinner time to pick his dad up and brought me a pint of Ben and Jerry's ice cream. That will be my bedtime snack tonight! Can't wait! I must again thank all of you who have kept myself and my family in your thoughts and prayers. You give me strength with your phone calls, visits, comments on my blog, and just your support is overwhelming to Kyle and I. You give me the ability to go on when the days are bad and to keep my optimism for a strong recovery. And the ability to keep saying YES I CAN, YES I CAN, YES I CAN!

    Hi Cindy,

I think of you everyday, almost every moment and wondering how you are doing. After seeing my son go through the same thing, I know it's not easy. Just keep that positive attitude and you'll beat AML. Keep boxing and yes you can.
    God bless you. Ginny

    Mom,
Glad you had such a great day! Sounds like you had lots of visitors today good timing for feeling better. I can't wait to see you again. The girls and I had ice cream tonight too. We love you and I am going to call you in the morning. Went to call you tonight and it was too late so I tried to call dad and it went right to voice mail.
    Love you lots!

Am that old friend of Jan's (France Desrosiers). At my parents' in FL, and had no internet until my 12 year old found one spot he could hook into someone's nearby so I could finally check on you and how bmt went. I got on here at just the right time because you seem good today. Know so many pray and send strong positive energy your way, even some like me you may not even know. You made my day today and I cried watching Jesse's video. The pink scarf on your head is really cute and actually frames your face to advantage! You look radiant in some of those pictures with it on, so you know (and that's from an outsider whose unbiased!). Good for you. I continue praying and sending and have enlisted my mom, sister, sister-in-law, who will enlist their best prayer sources.....and on and on........because we've been where we needed those prayers for someone and know its strength........

    Morning Bella!
Since you hadn't posted when I went to bed, I was a little hesitant to come on this morning. I was worried you had a bad day, but it was WONDERFUL reading that it was a "glorious" day filled with family, love and ICE CREAM! Now, it doesn't get much better than that, Bella! I'm happy that Libby is feeling better, as well. I bet your mom has been so worried about both her girls. It's all coming together for you, Cindy. A sister with a perfect match, a body that is healing and a spirit like no other I have ever seen. A network of friends and family (and even those you don't know) that are constantly praying for you and supporting you throughout this entire journey. You must feel very loved:) Keep on being our "Punching Bella"........you're almost home, kiddo! Hoping today is as great for you as yesterday was! I feel you're going to have many more good days than yucky ones. You're on the road to a complete recovery and the bus is washed and waxed to bring you home!
    YES I CAN!

One more day closer to coming home. Keep your spirits high and the healing light around you. Jan's friend is right - you look beautiful in your "pirate" scarf and you just radiate from all the prayers and positive energy. Kyle had to bring the ice cream to you himself because if I had been in the car it would have been half gone by the time we got to the hospital (you know those pregnancy cravings..). Keep the gloves on and remember how much we love you.
    Love always,
    Erika
P.S. Kade had a blast with Papa this morning. I can't thank him enough for watching him during my marathon OB visit.
