HOME

We made it to Sandusky today. Oh, when I walked in the door, I could smell autumn. Barb and Bill had decorated for fall and the candles smelled soooooo good. I lost it when I saw how beautiful it was. My mom and Kyle's mom brought us food, and my mom stayed while Kyle ran to the store for a few items to hold us through the weekend. We told the Hope Lodge we would not be back till Monday, since my doctor gave me clearance and they were real nice about it. I need a few days in my home......it's the best therapy for me. I'm getting stronger every day (even though that's not too strong) I have a hard time with the steps, but baby steps will get me there. Kyle is doing such a good job being my caregiver, but I know he is exhausted. I took a nap when I got home so I could be awake when Marcie got home at 11 pm....so that is why this is so late . She is glad to have me home although she doesn't want me to go back....I have to for a little while yet and the Hope Lodge makes things comfy for us.

    Welcome home Cindy
So happy to hear you made it home. Guess we will have to wait till your next trip home, to see you. All is well here in Florida. The weather has been beautiful and we have gotten a lot of work done. It has been really nice to see my parents. Hope you enjoy your time home and it refreshes and replenishes your soul.

    WELCOME HOME BELLA!!!!!!!
Don't you worry about those baby steps, that's how we all learned to take the giant steps. You're home and that is all that matters. Enjoy your bed, your family and friends, and good old home-made food. Are you hungry for anything special? Next time you lie down to take a nap, better take that hubby with you. I think he's just as tired as you :) ENJOY!

Oh Cindy...I am so happy that you are making such wonderful progress on your crazy roller coaster journey. Knowing that you are out of there is so encouraging. You are such an amazing woman. I am sure that you will continue to have your good days and your bad days, but I am praying for more good ones. You are such a blessing to so many people. Now you have one more grandchild to love and spoil to your hears content. I know that they keep you moving in the right direction. They need you. God bless Kyle for being such a wonderful man to take good care of our Cindy. You are also an inspiration. I love you so much Cindy and miss you like crazy. The pictures are great. I saved the one of you with that HUGE smile on your face!!!! Haven't see that in a while. I love you and continue to ask for God's blessing upon you.
    Love you much,
    Kate
