Day + 12

Today has been a day of preparations for discharge. I am excited yet scared at the same time. All of the IV medications have been changed to oral and the pills make make me sick. So we are working on that. I heard that I missed a marvelous wedding reception last night, but I was there in spirit. Congratulations Jillian and Britt!! I could hear how much fun was being had by all when Kyle called me during the traditional 500 mile dance! And I have aspecial thank you to Jill and Britt for the donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in my name. That means so much to me. Maybe someday there will be a cure for everyone with this awful disease. I have heard so many stories from people's families while here and it is heartwrenching. I feel so fortunate to have so much support from friends, family, the community, people I did not even know before. Thank you all! Kyle and I will keep you all informed on my progrss these next weeks as I continue the journey. We are praying for a smooth road. Thanks everyone, see you down the road!

Good morning Cindy, today's the next step to complete recovery and a new adventure. It will be nice to have your own space for awhile with the simple freedoms we all take for granted. We hope the transition goes smooth and one day closer to being home. Love you always Doug and Pat

    Morning, Cindy!
Hope the transition went well with the big move. Now just coast along and get stronger everyday.
Squawk and I heard your name again at mass yesterday, and I was reminded once more of all those that are keeping you in thought and prayer. You have definitely developed your own fan club, with so many people asking God for continued blessings for you and your family. Heck, I feel like your family has grown by leaps and bounds! So many of us have come to be a part of your life, and have seen boundless strength and determination from you. Like it or not, you are one of those "role models" that some can only hope to aspire to be like. :)
I hope that today is a good one, and that you feel especially loved.
    Take care.

    Hi Cindy & Kyle,

Great news!! Good Luck with your move! We continue to talk about and pray for you daily. It was good to see Kyle and Marcie on Thursday night and again on Friday. Try your best to get out of that bed and walk, exercise, eat whatever it is the doc wants you to do in order to DRIVE THAT BUS BACK TO SANDUSKY.

    Love & prayers,
    Ed & Cindy
