sunday afternoon shower

Well, the Roth family is having their shower for my daughter-in-law to be, Lauren, as we speak.I feel bad that I can't be there, but as long as I can be at the wedding, I will do what I have to today. I am feeling much better this afternoon than I did this morning. After my post this morning, I started feeling real bad, the nurse came in and gave me acouple things and then I was snowed! I woke up to see my honey's face. We are going to watch the Cav's at 3:30. Well, just wanted to let everyone know, I'm doing better.!

Cindy Lou... Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that Sunday is such a day of prayer and you were on the top of the list for so many! I am constantly amazed at the love and support that can come through a machine! It is so wonderful to hear that you are feeling better and that the Chemo treatments are almost history! Now it is time for you to give your body the healing time it needs, I know that is a hard thing for you since you are the one always doing not the one standing by. I hope you continue to have a good day and it is so inspiratinal to us all to know that after all these years together the love between you and Kyle is stronger than ever! You are an example to us all! We all are thinking and praying for you daily. Take care, Shannon

Hi Aunt Cindy! Missed you today but as always we you were in our thoughts and we knew you were "there". I uploaded some pictures from the shower real quick so you could check them out. They're on my blog. I'm sure you will receive many more including the video Erika took. You are so very blessed to have 2 wonderful, caring daughter-in-laws. Love you! Heidi

    Hi Cin,

What a surprise. I picked up the phone and there you were. It was good to hear your voice. The shower went wonderfully. Lauren was so appreciative and she got lots of nice things. I think Zac will be pleased as well. There was a big hole...with you missing, but we gathered in a circle and said a prayer for you. I'm sure you could feel the love. I'll have Mark download all the pics I took and hopefully you can enjoy them. We are still thinking and praying for you, so you just get your strength back and we hope to see you this week. Love ya!!

    Hey Abb,
Glad to hear you're feeling better. You were missed at the shower. However, it still was very nice for Lauren. Enjoyed seeing all of your little girls. They're so cute (in case you didn't know). I'm leaving for Florida in an hour and will be gone for a week. So I may try to stop at a library or have a ghost writer. If I can't get to a computer...don't know body be talkin about me! I'll continue to pray & send light. Claim Mark 11:24 love, val

    Hi Cindy,
I hope you had a good visit with dad and Bryan. I'm sure Bryan made you laugh and smile. He always has a way of doing that. Sorry about the Cavs game. Yes, we are Pistons fans but no other Michigan teams. Hang in there! We're thinking of you every day.
    Love ya!

We really missed you today at the shower, but you were definitely there in spirit. Daleen said the most beautiful prayer for you. Everyone sent their well wishes on the video. I am going to come up tomorrow evening as soon as Kyle gets home from work so you can see it firsthand. I'm sure Kyle will post a clip or two on the site as well. The shower was so nice and Zac and Lauren got some beautiful things (even more towels for you to use once you are back working at TTH). I got a great picture of the girls at the shower, we'll have to photoshop Kade into it though. I am so proud of you - you made it through chemo! Now you just have to fight to get your strength back and get home. I expect to see you running a marathon next year because next to what you've been through everything else will seem like a piece of cake. I'll see you tomorrow. I love you.

    Cindy,
I've been reading the blog each day and took an updated copy to the OB department at FRMC. Everybody was very concerned and more positive thoughts and prayers are on their way to you. This blog site is amazing...just like you. I believe in you. I know you'll win this battle. You already have...look at all the love and support you have. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Love ya,
    Nancy e.
